Chamomile a sweet smelling herb that is used by many different cultures to aid in sleep, soothe the nerves and ease symptoms of colds and stomach trouble in children. $5.00  
Coltsfoot known remedy for cough and respiratory ailments. It is soothing to mucous membranes and soothes the throat as well as breaking up coughs from asthma, bronchitis or colds. Can be made into tea or burned and inhaled in smoke form. $5.00  
Comfrey this herb has been used for centuries for healing wounds, helping bones heal, strengthening the skeletal system and aiding digestion. It is frequently used as a tonic to strengthen the entire body. It can be used either externally or internally (as a tea) for healing of wounds, fractures and stomach problems. $5.00  
Mullein this herb is called a natural wonder by many cultures. It is used to kill pain and help induce sleep. But it is widely known for controlling coughs, cramps and spasms. It loosens mucus and moves it out of the body. When combined with Coltsfoot it can be burned and inhaled in smoke form to stop asthma attacks instantly. The tea is used for sinusitis, sore throats, tonsillitis and tumors. $5.00  
Red Clover this herb is best known for its blood purification properties. It is also useful for sore eyes and in salves for burns. It can be mixed with honey and water and used as a cough syrup. It also feeds and soothes the nervous system and is most commonly made into a tea. $5.00  
Rosemary as well as being a lovely seasoning in cooking, rosemary has many remedial uses. It is an age-old remedy for colds, nervous conditions, parasitic infections, high blood pressure and headaches. The tea can also be used as a mouth- wash and a gargle for sore throat. It is made in tea with sage to treat fevers. It is used externally for wounds including bites an stings. Also, the tea is frequently used as a hair rinse to make hair shinier and healthier. $5.00  
Slippery Elm this is a wonderful herb used to heal all parts of the body. It draws out impurities and is an excellent remedy for the respiratory system and for stomach problems. One teaspoonful mixed in warm milk, sweetened with honey, is wonderful for irritation of the stomach and intestine. It is also an amazing wound healer and can be poured as a powder directly into wounds or mixed into a paste with water and applied to sores and rashes. When made into a tea with one tablespoon of the powder mixed with one pint of boiling water, it is steeped for one hour and then strained. St. John's Wort this herb is a powerful blood purifier. It is also used to eliminate bronchitis. The seeds, when steeped in boiling water, help remove blood from the stomach caused by bruises, falls or burst blood vessels. It is used to heal wounds, especially wounds that have been difficult to heal. It is used for depression and nervous system upsets and is used to treat headaches and symptoms of menopause. Valerian Root this strong smelling herb is extremely useful for insomnia and night terrors. It is very useful in soothing the nervous system and can be used as a pain reliever when used for muscle spasms. It can be used in tea, but due to its strong odor, is more frequently powdered and taken in capsule form. We carry it in both forms. $5.00
